Behind the Scenes: From Dough Ball to Box
By Flavor Forge Kitchen · July 14, 2026
Twenty seconds of honesty from our feed: how a Flavor Forge ad pizza actually gets made. One dough round, one bowl of sauce, two hands, and a counter that gets satisfyingly messy.

THE BUILD, IN ORDER
- The dough is stretched by hand, straight on the perforated peel, over a counter dusted with semolina.
- Sauce goes on from the bowl and gets spiralled out with the back of the spoon — no measuring, just eye.
- Pepperoni is laid piece by piece around the rim, then a handful of mozzarella over the middle.
- Into the flame — the same pie, toppings and all, blistering on the stone.
- Out of the oven and straight into the kraft box. That's the shot we ended on.
LOOK CLOSER
- The @flavorforge.bh handle sits on the frame the whole way through — this is the feed cut itself, trimmed for the blog.
- The black peel under the dough is the same perforated launch peel you'll spot in our other films.
- The mess is left in: scattered flour, sauce bowls, a spoon in shot.
